This coffee is a single-origin from Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. The same region as our Three Capes 'Just Add Water' comes from.
Ethiopian coffees are typically lighter and fruitier. Coming into summer time, we wanted to offer something similar to Gold Sunrise, but slightly fruitier.
Ethiopia is known as the birthplace of the coffee drink we know today. Here's an additional blog post if you'd like to learn more about Ethiopian coffee.
We've also roasted this batch at medium to preserve all the flavours of the bean. Dark roasts typically bring forward the bitter flavours of a coffee bean, helping it "cut through" milk.
While you can drink this coffee with milk, we recommend trying it first black, then gradually adding milk to taste.
