Do you ship internationally? And what is the cost?

Yes we do. We love the fact that so many of the world’s coffee connoisseurs already order from us. Our flat rate shipping costs are as follows:

New Zealand $20.

Rest of the World $40.

Orders received before midday will be dispatched on the same day the order was made and usually received in major cities with 48-72 business hours.

But – this obviously depends on where you live – so it’s best to allow up to 7 days for delivery within Australia and 14 days for other parts of the world.

Naturally we’d love to hand deliver each and every order … though we do rely heavily on our carrier partners. If any issues ever arise with your order please reach out to the team on hello@tripodcoffee.com.au and we’ll investigate for you. We do thank you for your patience in advance.

Your shipping tracking number is sent to you in an email confirming the fulfilment of your order.

You can copy/paste that number into the courier website and it will keep you updated on progress.

Can I leave special delivery instructions or have an 'authority to leave unattended'?

Yes!

Tripod Coffee orders will be delivered via Australia Post or via a registered courier. In most cases you will need to provide a signature or – if you’re not home at the time – please check your letterbox for a note with instructions from the delivery service. If you would like to Postman to leave your coffee without a signature, please add a note in the 'Special Instructions for Seller' at the checkout.

We pride ourselves on our outstanding customer service. So if something’s ever wrong with your order or – heaven forbid – our capsules, we want to hear about it.  So please email us and we’ll do our best to remedy the situation asap.

Our pods are 100% compatible with all Nespresso® Original machines; namely those made by Breville and De’ Longhi.

What machines are Tripod Coffee capsules NOT compatible with?

Our capsules are not compatible with Nespresso Vertuo®, flat disc Nespresso commercial, Caffitaly®, or Aldi® coffee pod machines.

Tripod Coffee capsules are now wholly made from plant based materials!

So what does this even mean I hear you ask?

Our latest capsule iteration is searching for zero Impact … they are 100% bio-based, made with natural materials, utilising a combination of plant oils & fatty acids as the primary raw material.

Even the lid is plant based. So no need to peel it off before composting. The lids are biobased, compostable & provide an oxygen barrier which is non-tearable to ensure the perfect extraction and best results in your cup.

All in all … this makes the capsule Certified Home Compostable. They will break down within a well-managed home composting environment with sufficient heat, water, soil, oxygen, and micro-organisms.

Due to this innovation our capsules meet both Australian and Global standards:

No, absolutely not.

Our compostable capsules, unlike many competitors are individually sealed airtight to ensure no oxygen comes in contact with the coffee. The production of the coffee capsules involves flushing each capsules with nitrogen before sealing, so that the flavour when you make your coffee is as if the coffee had been roasted and ground just seconds prior. Magic really and an ode to modern technology!

This also means the shelf life is over 12 months, but we bet they won’t last that long once you have tried them.

If you don’t have the capacity to responsibly dispose of your pods at home there are a number of alternatives.

FOGO is a council led initiative with each council offering different options.

A list of other councils using this program can be found here. This is an open source document you can edit if you know the information for your council already.

Alternatively, if you don’t have access to a green bin you can send your pods back to us via our Pod-to-Plant Returns Program where we process them into organic fertiliser and green energy (yes, you read that right).

When utilising the Loyalty Rewards offering, please note the 'free shipping' threshold will remain.

If you're basket size drops below the threshold and you wish to claim free shipping, please look to add additional items into the basket ... the good news is our pods have a 12mth shelf life from the production date so should be good for a while ;)

Additionally you can claim the 'free shipping' reward to remove this costs.

As for the coffee beans, they’re sourced from the best coffee regions in the world, carefully tucked into their shipping beds then unpacked, ground, roasted and blended by local Australian artisans.

Green Canopy is currently 100% Australian Certified Organic and fair trade coffee.

All of our other blends are pesticide free but not certified organic.
