Want to mix up your iced coffee routine?
This smooth carbonated, iced coffee recipe is a refreshing way to start (or continue) your day with some added pizzazz. It’ll remind you of the lovely bitterness of good Negroni or dark chocolate, but is perfectly balanced out with the sweetness of the orange.
What you’ll need
- 150ml soda water
- 60ml espresso - we recommend 2x Purple Aviator pods
- 60ml fresh orange juice
- Small hand-full of Ice
- 2 5cm orange peels
Simply add the ingredients in this order and give it a gentle stir

1. Use room temperature sparkling water so that the coldness doesn’t shock the coffee bringing out the more bitter flavours in the coffee.
2. Finish by rubbing the orange peels around the rim of the glass and slide ‘em in to garnish! This is not just to feel like a fancy mixologist, but the oils will give you a more floral scent to taste.
